MAC’s Micoblading Treatment
Bringing you the latest in permanent makeup!!
This is a new tattoo technique that fills in the eyebrows or reshapes them by drawing tiny hair stroke lines to mimic individual hairs. Even though we say “tattoo” do not be afraid! They are semi-permanent that should last between 1-3 years. Microblading is done with a disposable handheld tool that is made out of needles that put pigment into the skin but doesn’t go as deep as a typical tattoo does.
This procedure takes 2-3 hours. The longest part of the entire procedure is in the consultation and getting to know our clients and designing the brow shape/color desired. The actual microblading takes about 45 minutes.

Pre care instructions – How to prepare for the best brows or lips
One Month Before Your Appointment
Discontinue use of any anti-aging products that contain retinol, such as Rein-A, prior to your microblading appointment.
If getting lip blushing , please do not get lip filler as we will not be able to perform this service if you do so.
Chemical peels and laser peels should not be performed before the procedure.
Two Weeks Before Your Appointment
Stop taking the following supplements; Vitamin A, Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Gingko Biloba, Fish oil, and St. John’s Wort, as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.
If getting microblading, please do not get Botox, as we will not be able to perform this service if you do so.
AHA preparations should not be performed.
If getting lip blushing, start hydrating your lips. Drink lots of water, keep SPF on them, and keep a hydrating lip balm on them. The more hydrated they are the better!
72 Hours Before Your Appointment
Avoid exfoliation, plucking, or waxing your brows (if getting microblading), alcohol, aspirin, and any other related blood thinners (Unless instructed by your physician.)
The Day of Your Appointment
Avoid caffeine and exercise. If getting microblading, wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid getting your brows wet for several days.
Please keep in mind that this is a two-step process and is not permanent. Please don’t expect to see full results until after your 6-week perfecting visit. You will come for your initial brow appointment and then again once they are completely healed in 6 weeks to perfect anything that needs to be perfected.
Some Things To Keep In Mind…
Please know that your lips or brows will be significantly darker immediately following your appointment. This will reduce 30-50%. Also, redness or swelling is a result that you could possibly experience that could last up to a couple of days.
We will numb you for 20-30 minutes prior to your microblading or lip blushing. Although we do numb, some clients still may feel a slight discomfort or sensitivity throughout your service. We will continue to apply a numbing solution to keep you comfortable. (An allergic reaction can occur from any anesthetic used but is not common. If you do experience an allergic reaction you may see redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness, or any other symptom associated with an allergic reaction. If you think you are suffering from an allergic reaction you should contact your doctor right away.)
We cannot perform microblading or lip blushing if you are currently pregnant or nursing.
Aftercare Instructions – How to Care for Your Brows or Lips
- Avoid getting the area wet during the healing process. If your eyebrows or lips get wet just pat them dry with a towel. It is very important that you DO NOT rub them.
- Avoid saunas, swimming or tanning beds. Sun exposure can affect the healing process and cause the pigment to fade.
- You might find that your eyebrows or lips will scab or become dry. It is very important that you do not touch, rub, pick or scratch following the procedure or during the healing process because you can remove the color. If you must relieve the itch, just tap them with your finger.
- Apply your healing balm according to your artists advice. If you have excessively oily skin you may not need to use the balm at all. For those that have dry skin the healing balm can be used morning, mid afternoon and at bedtime.
- Avoid putting your normal daily skincare products or makeup directly on the area until they are completely healed.
